Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Jinja and Boat cruise on the source of the Nile.
On the 1st day of your safari, our company representative from African Vacation Safaris will pick you from Entebbe International Airport and then brief you about the safari. After the briefing you will start on your journey to Jinja depending on your time you will have the stopover to enter Mabira forest the Uganda’s tropical rainforests to where you will have the guided walk to see various bird species, monkeys, plant species and among many others. After the experience you will continue your journey and then drive past large sugarcanes and then tea plantations before reaching Jinja.
When you arrive in Jinja you will enjoy lunch. After lunch you will get ready for the boat cruise on the Source of the Nile. This is where you will board a boat on Lake Victoria and then travel to the exact spot where the world’s longest river begins its long journey north. A guide will tell you about the history of the Nile and the famous explorer John Hanning Speke. You will see a variety of the bird species and enjoy the calm waters and beautiful scenery. After the cruise you will be transferred into your hotel for dinner and a restful night.

Day 2: Adrenaline and Departure.
On the 2nd day of the Uganda safari, after breakfast you will have the choice of the thriving activity. You can choose to go white-water rafting on the Nile, an activity that is famous in Jinja for its exciting rapids. If you prefer somethings different, you could try quad biking through the local villages and plantations, giving you a chance to see how people live in the countryside. Other options include kayaking, bungee jumping, tubing, or relaxing horseback ride along the river.
After your chosen activity you will have late lunch, before starting the drive back to Kampala, ending your short but exciting Jinja safari.
