Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park.
On the 1st day of the safari, your safari guide from African Vacation safaris will pick you from any of your preferred location and then introduce you about the safari, later you will start on your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park that takes you approximately 6 hour’s drive in the western part of Uganda. Along the way you will have the lunch en-route in Mbarara, and after lunch you will proceed with your journey and then reach the park in the evening with the game viewing experiences as you are heading to your lodge. Upon your arrival you will check in your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth national park.
On the 2nd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your breakfast, after breakfast you will meet your safari guide and then transfer to the park to sight the early risers, the game drive is such perfect that takes you to the verdant savannah plains to where you will sight the big four mammals of the big five mammals that includes the lions, buffaloes, leopards and elephants, as well as other mammals during the experience, without forgetting the bird species. After the game drive you will transfer to your lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will again come for more experience to do afternoon boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel that connects Lake Edward and Lake George that is known for having the largest numbers of the hippopotamuses in the country, as well you will spot the giant crocodiles and lots of bird species including cormorants, African fish eagles, bee-eaters, yellow-bellied storks, African jacana and among others, and others. You will see other animals along the water shores that come to drink and soak up the channel. After you will transfer to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge in Queen Elizabeth national park.
After breakfast, you will meet your safari guide and then transfer to Kyambura gorge for the chimpanzee tracking in Queen Elizabeth national park with all your respective tracking gears, you will first receive a briefing about the rules, regulations to follow during chimpanzee tracking. After you will explore the forests with the experienced trackers and then rangers to look for the chimpanzees. Although hiking the Kyambura gorge steep slopes while looking for the chimpanzees is challenging but after finding them is such worth it, this is where you will be given one hour in their presence that is watching them feed, playing, breastfeeding, grooming, as you take their pictures and recording the best moments. After the experience you will trek back and then transfer to your lodge for lunch. And after lunch you will relax at your lodge and in the evening get served with dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

4: Transfer to Kampala.
Day On the last day of the Uganda safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and then meet your safari guide and begin your journey to Kampala with the enroute lunch along the way. As you exist the lodge you will have the en-route game drive to spot the early risers that offers you fascinating safari experience. Upon your arrival you will be dropped at your convenient place either at the airport or to your hotel in Kampala that will make your safari come to the end.
