Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison falls national park.
On the 1st day of the safari, depending on your location, your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris will pick up from Entebbe International Airport or from your hotel in Kampala, and brief you about the Uganda safari. After the briefing you will transfers to Uganda’s largest national park, with the perfect views. Along the way you will have the enroute lunch, after lunch proceed with your journey and make a stopover to have opportunity to track the rhinos at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking for about 2 to 3 hours. After the experience you will continue with your journey to the park the home of the stunning falls, and upon your arrival you will visit the top of the falls and then later driver to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Game drive and boat ride on River Nile in Murchison falls national park.
After the breakfast, you will meet your safari guide and then drive to the park to the delta area and go for the game viewing experience that takes about 3 to 4 hours to spot the incredible wildlife like lions, elephants, Uganda Kobs, oribis, waterbucks, giraffes and various bird species. After you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will go for the afternoon launch cruise on the along the Nile that offers you the exciting spectacular views at the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls, during the cruise you will sight crocodiles, hippos, water bird species on the river banks like bee-eaters, African fish eagles, cormorants and others. After the experience you will meet your driver and then transfer to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Wake u-p and enjoy breakfast, after breakfast you will check out from your lodge and then meet your safari driver and begin with your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park in the south-west part of the country the journey takes you approximately 5 hours’ drive through Kyenjojo-Hoima road along the way you will have the lunch-enroute in Fort Portal. After lunch continue with your journey to Kasese town with the wonderful views of the highest Mount Rwenzori and the Lake Gorge of Queen Elizabeth national park. And that’s when you will start spotting large numbers of the antelopes, elephants, buffaloes and among many others. After you will enter in the park and then check in be served with dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4: Game drives and afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel in Queen Elizabeth national park.
On the 4th day after the breakfast, meet your safari guide and then drive to the park for the morning game drive to spot the early risers like lions, elephants, and many others through the major game trails with the wonderful view of the Rwenzori Mountains during the clear moments, and various bird species. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will return back for the afternoon boat cruise to where you will spot the different water species like large schools of hippos, crocodiles, and various water bird species. After the experience you will transfer to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 5: Return back to Kampala.
On the final day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and check out from your lodge and then meet your safari guide and get ready for your departure, with the enroute lunch along the way in Mbarara, after lunch proceed with your journey and then you will arrive in Kampala in the later evening and your safari driver drop you to your convenient place that will make your safari come to the end.
