Day 1: Pick up and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park.
Day 2: Game drive and afternoon boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth national park.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park.

Day 1: Pick up and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park.
On the 1st day of the safari, your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris will pick you from Entebbe International Airport or from your hotel in Kampala, to where he will brief you and then welcome you to the safari. After the briefing, you will start on your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park in the western part of Uganda. Along the way you will have the wonderful views of the beautiful landscapes, with the stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe for taking pictures and buying souvenirs, having equator experience. You will continue with your journey and make another stopover in Mbarara for the en-route lunch. After lunch you will drive until you reach the park, though with other stopovers along the way to have sightings of various attractions like the crater lakes, and among others. And once you reach the park you will have the stunning game viewing of the various wildlife as you are heading to your lodge, and once you arrive you will check in your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Game drive and afternoon boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth national park.
On the 2nd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and then enjoy your breakfast, after breakfast your safari guide will pick you from your lodge and transfer you to the park for the morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains for the game drive. During the morning game drive you will spot the different animal species that includes buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, Uganda Kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, and many others as they are grazing in the open savannah plains, during the game drive you will spot the predators like hyenas, lions, leopards looking for the fresh of the day, viewing various bird species and among many others. After the morning game drive you will drive back to your lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel, the water channel that connects Lake Edward and then Lake George. The boat cruise on Kazinga channel takes a period of 2 to 3 hours that gives you the opportunity of large herds of hippos, and large schools of crocodiles in the water, you will spot the elephants, waterbucks, and others along the water shores washing away their thirst, as well you will spot water bird species like cormorants, fish eagles, hornbills, yellow-bellied storks, African fish eagles. After the boat cruise you will return to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park through Ishasha sector.
On the 3rd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and then meet your safari guide and transfer to Ishasha sector to search for the tree climbing lions, this is where you will find then laying on the trees enjoying the sunset, as well as spotting other wildlife across. After the experience, you will proceed with your journey to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park with the en-route lunch along the way. After lunch, continue with your journey until the park with the beautiful views along the way. And once your arrive you will check in your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park.
On the 4th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast you will carry your lunch, and meet your safari guide and he will transfer you to the park’s headquarters for the gorilla trekking briefing of the rules and regulations to follow by the experienced park ranger and guides. After the briefing you will be allocated a gorilla family to trek and a park guide who is knowledgeable about the mountain gorillas and also conversant with the various gorilla trekking traits. Gorilla trekking takes a period of about 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on the location of the gorillas.
During gorilla trekking you will be impressed with the diverse spotting of various plant species, animal species, bird species and many others; and once the mountain gorillas are spotted you be given a period of one hour to be in the presence of the gorillas, that is watching them feeding, playing, hunting, breastfeeding, mothers grooming their young ones, taking pictures and recording their videos and among others. After the experience you will be transferred back to the starting point to where you will be will receive the gorilla trekking certificates for taking part in gorilla trekking. After the experience you will be transferred for the Batwa community experience this is where you will interact with them, check out their curio shops, enjoying their dances and songs, and among others. Later you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 5: Departure.
On the final day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and take a hearty breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and then get ready to transfer back to Kampala. Along the way you will have a stopover in Mbarara to where you will have the enroute lunch at Igongo cultural centre, this is a unique and a fascinating spot that showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Ankole people.
After the lunch experience you will proceed with your journey until you reach in Kampala. And once you arrive you will be dropped at Entebbe International Airport for your flight next back home or your hotel in Kampala that will make your safari come to the end.
